Caring for merino
Merino lasts when treated as wool — not as a cotton tee.
Main rules
Hand wash cold · mild wool wash · lay flat to dry
- Do not tumble dry.
- Avoid high heat (wash water and dryer).
- Reshape gently while damp; dry flat on a towel away from direct sun.
Extra tips (optional)
- Pills: Light surface pills can appear with friction; remove gently with a wool comb or fabric shaver made for knits.
- Storage: Clean before storing. Fold flat; avoid hanging long-term so the knit does not stretch.
- Damp weather: Let the sweater air fully dry before putting it away.
